St George is not a catchment school and places are offered in priority order of the categories outlined in our Admissions Policy and on the Applicaa app.

To apply for a place in Year 7 for 2026, you must complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) via the Applicaa by 31st October 2025. If you require further support with completing the SIF on Applicaa, please email sally.odam@stgcc.co.uk. 

Important: In addition to completing the supplementary Information form via Applicaa you must make sure you have submitted an application to your local council. Links for Southampton and Hampshire are below:

If your child has an EHCP, please still create an account with Applicaa and complete all the required information for your child. When you reach the admissions criteria section, select Option 10 – EHCP and digitally sign the form to submit. 

How to Appeal

If you have been refused a place at a preferred school due to being oversubscribed, you have the right to appeal for a place at St George. More information is available on the Southampton City Council website.

In-Year Admissions

For guidance on how to apply for a place for students currently in Years 7-11 during this academic year, please complete the form that can be found on Applicaa. You will need to create an account to do this. If you require further support with completing the form, please email sally.odam@stgcc.co.uk.
