Home Learning

We want to work with all our families to ensure that parents have a more detailed understanding of our requirements, regarding homework, how often it is set and where the homework is set. We aim to empower our parents with information that enables you to support your son/daughter with home learning to supports their progress in school and to meet deadlines.

The tables below give an overview for each year group, and give details of each homework, how often it is set and whether it is online or written in the students' planner for each subject.  Different subjects set homework, online using MS Teams or online platforms such as Maths Genie, Kerboodle, and Seneca Learning.   For us, it is important to maximise each student's progress, and need the flexibility to be able to set up home-learning tasks that are both online and in students'planners.

Support for Homework:

Homework Club for all years is open every day of the week.  At lunchtimes this is in room 11 (ICT Room) and after school, Monday to Friday, in Trinity our inclusion centre.  Homework Clubs are led by our staff if students would like support.
