Dear Parent/Guardian,

As you may well be aware, at 7:15pm this evening (Thurs) following a regional emergency planning meeting, all schools across Southampton have been advised to close tomorrow as Storm Eustice has now been declared a major incident. Therefore, St George Catholic College will be closed tomorrow, Friday 18th February.

Due to the lateness of this advice we will do our best to set work via MS teams, but we won’t be able to offer live lessons by tomorrow. I hope you understand the exceptional circumstances of this incident.

Year 11 students, please note that half-term school is on as normal and we look forward to seeing you if you are intending on coming in. If not we hope you all have a wonderful half-term, and we will see you back at
St George on Monday 28^th February 2022.
