A gathering of former students took place at St George at the end of April. It was a great success, with a fantastic turnout and a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. The participants enjoyed reminiscing with old friends and sharing their memories with us.
The Friends of St George will be holding an event in March to raise funds for the school. More information will follow soon
Dear Parents,
Next week, to support Safer Internet Day (6th February), South East ROCU (Regional Organised Crime Unit) will be running a webinar for parents / carers explaining cyber choices and the risks to young people of committing computer misuse offences. This risk is now a safeguarding risk, named within KCSiE (Keeping Children Safe in Education, 2023). So to try and further raise awareness of this, they want to reach out and explain to parents how young people can cross the line into cybercrime.
On the 12th March the NHS Vaccinations Team is giving booster vaccinations for our Year 9 students covering, Tetanus, Diphtheria and Polio (Td/IPV) and Meningitis ACWY. Consent forms are required by 7th March. Please visit our Health Page for full details
