Governor Profiles
Anna McCormack
Prior to becoming a Foundation Governor in November 2017, Anna was a Governor at St Swithun Wells for seven years. She has made an excellent transition from primary to senior school. Anna is Chair of Governors and a member of the Steering Group, Curriculum Committee, Finance & Resources Committee, Pay Committee and Admissions Committee. Anna is the Link Governor for Leadership and Management.
Roger Peplow
Roger is our LA Governor since 1995. He is also Vice-Chair of the Governing Body and Chair of the Curriculum Committee. Roger is also a member of the Steering Group, Pay Committee and Discipline Appeals Committee. Roger is Link Governor for leadership Quality of Education, Curriculum and Attendance.
Nick Guyer
Nick became a Foundation Governor in 2019. He is Vice-Chair and Chair of Finance & Resources Committee, a member of the Steering Group, Discipline Committee and Pay Appeals Committee.
James Habberley
James has been working at Saint George since 2004 starting out as a PE Teacher. He was appointed Head of School in September 2017 and Headteacher in September 2019. James says it is a privilege to work in a school with such strong values, as one community to achieve outstanding outcomes for all our students.
Fr Anthony Chiatu
Fr. Anthony became a Foundation Governor in October 2023. He is a member of the Steering Group and Curriculum Committee. Fr Anthony is Link Governor for RE and Catholic Life.
Bethany Hendrikse
Bethany became a Foundation Governor in December 2020 and is a member of the Finance & Resources Committee. She is also the Designated Training Governor.
Jacqui Cammish
Jacqui became a Parent Governor in March 2022. She is a member of the Curriculum Committee and Pay Appeals Committee. She is Link Governor for SEN.
Sarah Davis
Sarah became a Parent Governor in March 2018. She is a member of the Steering Group, Curriculum Committee and Pay Appeals Committee. She is the Link Governor for Behaviour & Attitudes, Safeguarding and Equality.
Rebecca Heneghan
Rebecca is Head of Business Studies/Travel & Tourism and Staff Governor. She is a member of the Finance & Resources Committee.
Stephen Fenn
Stephen became a Foundation Governor in April 2021. He is Chair of Admissions and a member of the Finance & Resources Committee. He is the Link Governor for IT.
Lorraine Swann
Lorraine became a Foundation Governor in October 2022 and is a member of the Curriculum Committee. She is the Link Governor for Health & Safety and Sustainability.
Richard Avery
Richard became a Foundation Governor in November 2023. He is a member of the Curriculum Committee and Admissions Committee. Richard is Link Governor for Careers.
