Students

During your time at St George you will have the opportunity to explore various post-16 options, meet with local employers, visit colleges and universities, and get involved in careers fairs and activities. Our goal is to support you by offering a tailored career programme so that you are fully prepared and confident about your post-16 options!

You will be involved in multiple events, such as 'Apprenticeship Week' and 'Careers Week', where you can find out about different paths and what qualifications you will need for certain jobs.

You will also have a 2-week work experience placement in Year 10 where you can experience the world of work!

Mrs Roxanne Wharton is the Careers Advisor at St George. You can book in for a 1:1 career appointment. Please pop in and see her. She's located in "Rome" building, first floor, before the staff room. You can also message her in MS Teams or scan the QR code on the careers notice board to book in.
