
Southampton's best-performing secondary school was found to be St George Catholic College in Swaythling.
It earned an overall score of 36/40, with an Attainment 8 score of 60. Attainment 8 scores measure pupils' performance in eight core subjects, including maths and English, which are scored out of a possible 90.
The proportion of 2022 pupils now in education and work was 95.7%, which was above the national average of 93%.
Additionally, 33.2% of its pupils scored a 5 or higher across five key GCSEs, which was well above the national average of 18%.
