We are looking to appoint a cover supervisor, starting September 2026. A cover supervisor covers lessons in the absence of their regular teacher, due to absence, sickness or trips, ensuring that students remain engaged and follow the work set for them.
This role requires effective organisational, communication, and classroom management skills, as well as the ability to adapt to different situations and build positive relationships with students. It would suit a person thinking about a career in teaching or building a career in the support mechanism for students within the college, or someone who has previously had experience in education. You will need to have a personal and professional interest in the education and development of students. If you think you are suitable for the post, we would really like to hear from you. We promote a positive Catholic ethos, but there is no requirement to be Catholic to apply.
