Salary (per annum): Grade 7 FTE: £32,061 - £36,362
Pro Rata: £27,560 - £31,257
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Friday 8am to 3.30pm
Location: Southampton
Contract type: Permanent, term time only

About the Role

We are seeking an Inclusion Hub Manager to lead and develop our school’s new Inclusion Hub, ensuring that all students that come into the hub are supported to thrive both personally, academically and socially.

The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting an inclusive culture, managing targeted interventions, and working collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies to support students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the Inclusion Hub, creating a safe, supportive, and structured environment for students.
  • Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies to support student wellbeing and academic progress. Ensure these are recorded on the Provision Map.
  • Work closely with the Inclusion team, Senior Assistant Head Teacher and pastoral teams, to identify and support students.
  • Support reintegration of students into mainstream classrooms, where appropriate.
  • Liaise with parents/carers, external professionals, and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and resilience among students.

Person Specification

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH /SEND needs.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive education practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner.
  • Experience in leading or coordinating interventions or support programmes.
