EAL Teaching Assistant (Polish Speaking)

We are now seeking to  appoint an EAL Teaching Assistant to join our Inclusion Team.
The successful candidate must be fluent in Polish, be expected to work with children with English as a second language and will be required to provide learning and care support on a 1:1, small group and in class basis. The successful candidate would also be expected to enter students for their home language GCSE on an annual basis. Good communication, IT skills and a high level of literacy and numeracy are essential to the post.

Dates: Job start September 2021

Salary: Grade 6, range 12-17

£22,368 - £24,491 FTE

£19,141 - £20,958 actual salary

37 Hours per week, term time only

Location: Southampton

Contract type: Permanent
