We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and committed full time teacher of girls PE, who will bring exceptional enthusiasm, passion and talent in a range of sports.                Art and Design Technology Technician                  

37 Hours a week (5 Days) Term Time only
Grade: 5  
Scale Point 15 - £17,029 to Scale Point 21 - £22,001 Pro Rata

 

The college requires an Art & Technology Technician for February 2017.  The post holder will be mainly responsible for preparing, setting up and clearing away equipment and materials required for demonstrations and class practical work. To test and monitor stock and equipment used for teaching and learning. To prepare and create departmental resources. To maintain teaching areas to current Health & Safety standards, including checking and maintaining machinery and equipment and carrying out any necessary Risk Assessments. When required, to demonstrate the operation of equipment and machinery to members of staff and to students;

If required, under the leadership of the Subject Teacher, to work with groups of students to develop their learning in specific areas. To undertake other duties to support the range of work undertaken within the department and to support Art and Design across the curriculum.
